Blue Fluted Plain came to life in 1775 as the first ever pattern from Royal Copenhagen. Still today, the classic blue floral pattern is produced just as it was centuries ago, each piece of porcelain treated as a piece of art, carefully painted by hand.

Blue Elements is built from fragments of different classical dinnerware. A beautiful combination of the flutes and pattern from Blue Fluted Plain, the from Blue Fluted Half Lace and the rimmed edge of Flora Danica.

In 1888 Artistic Director Arnold Krog, created Blue Fluted Half Lace. The elegant lace border is beautifully decorated with delicate blue brush strokes and charming details such as snail shells adorn the lids and handles.
