Blue Elements Vase 10 cm

The Blue Elements vases are available in two sizes and represent a new interpretation of traditional vase design. The 10 cm vase is hand painted with a playful pattern of vibrant blue, inspired by the classic Blue Fluted Plain. Handmade flutes create a tactile counterpart to the organic shape, which will be an eye-catching element in any room of the house.

The Blue Elements collection blooms in elegant joyfulness with an inspiring combination of classic Royal Copenhagen design elements and classic, hand painted decorations that grow freely across porcelain surfaces. The Three Waves
Proposed as The Royal Danish Porcelain Factory trademark in 1775 by Queen dowager Juliane Marie, every piece of Royal Copenhagen porcelain is instantly recognised by the three blue waves on its underside symbolising the Sound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt - the three main waterways of Denmark.

The Signature
The delicate decoration of the hand painted porcelain is comparable to the painter own signature and like any other piece of art, Royal Copenhagen skilled blue painters leave their signatureon the underside of every piece of porcelain.
